The expectations were not super high for this read. Many of us didn’t really enjoy the movie. It turns out that just the first half of this book is the movie, and honestly that should have been the end of the book. Pacing issues, unlikeable characters and generally too much book for it’s own good, this was indeed a neverending story and not in the unique way the author means it.
