Did you catch “The Witcher” on Netflix in December 2019? This book is part of the series that that show is based on. Starting in the middle of the story this is a book when you have to pay attention. Good world building and character development this has hints of fairy tale retelling, magic explanation and magical creatures both good and bad. This was a well told story that comes together at the culmination and makes your ready to continue the journey with the main character.
